1. Data We Collect
We collect the following data when you use DiecastVault: email address, first name, last name, username, car collection data (model, brand, color, series, photos), and optional purchase details (price, location, date).
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide the DiecastVault service: displaying your collection, enabling search, generating statistics, and powering your public profile if enabled. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
DiecastVault uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the app. GA4 collects anonymized data including page views, events (e.g. adding a car, searching), session duration, and general device/browser information. This data helps us improve the user experience. GA4 is only loaded if you accept cookies via the consent banner. You can opt out at any time by revoking cookie consent or by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
4. Advertising & Third Parties
DiecastVault uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and your browsing data to serve personalized ads based on your interests. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ad Settings page (adssettings.google.com). We have no access to data collected by Google for advertising purposes.
5. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. Photos are stored in Supabase Storage. Data may be hosted on servers located in the United States or European Union.
6. Data Deletion
You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us via the support page. Requests are processed within 30 days.
